Dec 28:
'Last season, he broke his jaw in the situation against Tyrone Mings. And I hope he doesn't have more than just the big knock - he was complaining about the jaw, and we play in three days. I hope it's just the knock and there is nothing there. But it's true that he was in a lot of pain, and we will have to assess him.'

May 11:
'AFCB confirm Alex Scott has suffered a fractured jaw... Scans have revealed a displaced fracture, and Scott will undergo surgery to stabilise the jaw. He will miss the remainder of the season and have the full support of the club and its medical team throughout the recovery process.'
May 19:
'He has already gone to a place where they design a mask with everything, so he can take the risks. It will depend on how comfortable he is with this. The surgery went really well, he looks good, and he is doing his stuff. Definitely not tomorrow, I think it's almost impossible he plays Sunday, but I don't want to rule him out. He tries the mask, but I think it is going to be very difficult.'
May 23:
'Alex with the mask has trained for the first day today and looked fine. Probably not 100 per cent comfortable, but he wants to try, and we will see tomorrow if he can deal with the mask and be comfortable. I cannot guarantee, but I think he wants to give it a go.'

Nov 04:
'We will have to check; it's the other knee [not the same as the last injury]. Not the same kind of injury; he felt it in the inside of the knee. Let's hope it's something minor, but we can't say too much before checking.'
Nov 10:
'It's a grade two injury, and it is tough; it is on the other knee than the one he had an injury with earlier in the season. This is what the doctors have told us, so I don't have an exact [return] date.'
Dec 15:
'Alex and Max (Aarons) are doing some things outside with the group.'

Aug 05:
'He had a bit of a problem with his knee 2-3 days ago. We've had it looked at, he's fine; we just need to get the swelling down. Hopefully, we'll get him back for next week [against Millwall].'
Aug 11:
'For the start of the season, probably the first couple of months, he'll be out.'
Aug 25:
'We are not close - they need time - the club signed the players knowing that they would be out for some games. I think Tyler should be earlier than Alex (Scott)- he is the one that will spend more time out.'
Sept 22:
'I know this has been [his] first [week] outside just doing physical work, but it's a first step in the right direction. But he is far from Tyler (Adams).'
Oct 20:
'We also have had Alex doing well, showing good signs and feeling well. It's good to see him outside with the rest of the team.'
